Why We Built This Site
Georgia provides several ways to inspect criminal record information, but responsibility is split by record type and venue. The Gordon County Jail Division maintains booking and custody data. The Clerk of Superior Court keeps felony files, dispositions, and criminal warrants, while State Court and municipal courts maintain matters within their own jurisdiction. The Georgia Crime Information Center holds the central state criminal-history repository. Sentenced-offender information comes from the Georgia Department of Corrections, and public registration data comes from the Georgia Sex Offender Registry. Bringing the verified routes, published fees, and request instructions together makes it easier to begin with the office that actually holds the requested record.

What We Cannot Do
Gordon County Criminal History is a privately operated reference site. It has no affiliation with Gordon County, a Georgia court, any sheriff or police department, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, or another government agency. Those limits affect every request:
- We do not retrieve an official criminal history or conduct an agency background check
- We cannot submit record requests, restriction forms, or court filings for another person
- We cannot certify court documents, booking records, or Georgia criminal-history information
- We do not provide legal advice or interpret the effect of a specific charge or disposition
- We cannot promise that an agency’s hours, fees, contacts, or online controls have not changed
An official copy must come from the office that maintains it, such as the Gordon County court clerk, Sheriff or Jail Division, or Georgia Crime Information Center.
Search Partners
Search boxes on some pages are supplied by independent third-party providers. Those providers operate their own services, decide what their results contain, and set any prices they charge. A paid signup reached through one of these tools may produce a referral fee that supports free public access to this reference material. Gordon County Criminal History does not control the provider’s results, fees, terms, or availability.
